2016 Higher School Certificate Results

Parramatta Marist High School has again performed with distinction in the Higher School Certificate, achieving our second best results to date. In the 2016 HSC, PMH students recorded 185 Band 6s. Parramatta Marist is ranked 51st in the state’s top 100 performing schools for the ninth consecutive year. 89 of our students received a Band 6 in one or more subjects.

 

Significant achievement was made in all courses. Mathematics, Extension 1 and Extension 2 were ranked 4th in the state, Mathematics General 2 ranked 28th and English (Advanced), Extension 1 and Extension 2 ranked 61st in the state.

 

School Dux

Congratulations to Jasnoor Mann the School Dux who received an Australian Tertiary Academic Rank (ATAR) of 99.70.

The results are a testament to the collaborative efforts of staff and students and reflect how hard everyone worked throughout the year. I have high expectations of the staff and students and they continue to exceed these.
