An update from Br Patrick Howlett

28 July 2017 | General Interest

Dear Parents, Staff and Students,

Following my departure from the school in Term 2, I have had the opportunity to travel to two educational conferences. In the next two months I will be having a sabbatical where I will be meeting with PBL educators around the world that have had a significant influence on the implementation of PBL at Parramatta Marist.

The highlight of my career in education was working with staff, students and families at Parramatta Marist. However, turning 75 I knew that it had become time to retire.

I would particularly wish the Year 12 class of 2017 the best of luck in their upcoming trials and HSC exams. I thank the staff for their hard work in preparing the students for their examinations.

Unfortunately, I will be away during the graduation time but I am sure that all the boys will work their hardest to achieve great results.

Best wishes for the future.

Br Patrick Howlett
