Uniform

  • The correct school uniform is to be worn at all times at school and while travelling to and from school.
  • The uniform should be neat, clean and worn with pride.
  • All shoes, including sports shoes must be lace up.
  • Students who do not have a hat at recess or lunch will remain in a classroom during this time.
  • Marist school bag is compulsory for all years. No other bags are acceptable.

Sport Uniform

  • Only permitted to be worn on sports day or as otherwise directed.
  • A short sleeve Marist polo shirt in summer.
  • Dark green Marist shorts with the school crest.
  • Parramatta Marist High School White sport socks.
  • Shoes must be laced, plain and predominately white joggers.
  • The school tracksuit and/or spray jacket may be worn in addition to the above items.
  • If a student is unable to wear the sports uniform on sports day they are to wear full school uniform
  • The school hat is a compulsory part of the school uniform and must be worn by all students in order to participate in any sporting activity.
  • All students must provide their own water bottle for sporting activities.

Hairstyles and Shaving

Hair is to be clean and neatly cut of the collar, of natural colour, of even grade and extremes of fashion avoided. The following hairstyles are not permitted:

  • Shaved, stepped, ringed, undercut, steps, lines
  • Short cuts less than a number 2
  • Streaks, colour, dyes or excessive gel
  • Longhair that covers the collar, the ears, or the eyes when brushed forward.
  • Senior students are to be clean-shaven at school.
  • Sideburns no lower than earlobe.

Jewellery

  • No form of facial rings are permitted including earrings, nose rings and eyebrow rings.
  • Chains and necklaces (including religious symbols) are not to be visible on the outside of the uniform.
  • Watches and medical bracelets are the only wrist accessories permitted.
